Life’s Riddles
Childhood enrolled fun and play
With a demand all was done
Neglect and habits had no say
When playing was all in one
Youth was sleep and laziness
And enjoyment the only need
Apathy could not harness
The will with the sleepy seed
Marriage was a demanding wife
Nagging the wealth to depletion
Satisfying her was a life
Never to see the completion
Mistress became a part time fun
Leaving home to find one
Instant pleasure was on the run
Had many and found none
Old age is now a name
Health took the wealth for a ride
With shame, who to blame
Looking for a place to hide
